Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Main Duty

The Contract & Commercial Executive is responsible for preparing and review complete, accurate estimates for all type of contracts (lump sum, unit rates and material, etc.) in compliance with Company's Quality, Environment, Safety and Health Policy, Procedures, and Work Instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors and construction facilities.
• Manage tender enquiries, prequalification submissions and proposals.
• Review Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents and contract terms, identifying exemptions and deviations.
• Prepare work scopes, specifications, project schedules, quantity take-offs and cost summaries.
• Obtain, review and evaluate subcontractor quotations and scopes of work.
• Coordinate pre-bid meetings and site visits with project teams.
• Prepare technical and commercial bids, respond to client clarifications and support techno-commercial meetings.
• Prepare cost estimates for management review and approval.
• Review Letters of Award and contract documents, and prepare project handover documentation.
• Register confirmed work and coordinate handover to the project execution team.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in estimation, preferably within engineering, construction, industrial services or a related sector.
• Experience in cost estimation, tender preparation, quantity take-offs and subcontractor quotation analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications and contract documents.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Computer literate, organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask, work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driving licence.
