Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

  • Assist in preparing budgetary cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, materials, and labour requirements.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements.
  • Support value engineering and cost optimisation exercises.

Post-Contract

  • Assist in preparing subcontract tender documents, evaluating quotations, and issuing Letters of Award.
  • Review tender drawings and documents prepared by consultants.
  • Check quantities and assist in advising on material procurement.
  • Support contract administration, including progress monitoring, variations, and claims.
  • Track changes in design and construction works and assess cost implications.
  • Prepare monthly progress claims and subcontractors payment certificates.
  • Attend site meetings and tender interviews when required.
  • Assist in preparing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with consultants, site teams, project managers, and engineers.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • 02 years experience in pre- and post-contract works for building or high-rise projects (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of building, structural, and architectural works; interior fit-out or renovation exposure is an advantage.
  • Understanding of building materials pricing and labour costs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
