Contract Executive or Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure Main Contractor)

My client is an established infrastructure construction company who is expanding their Commercial & Contracts teams and is seeking Contract Executives to join their growing operations. This organisation delivers high-value infrastructure projects, offering stable career growth and exposure to landmark developments.
This position is within the Kuala Lumpur area.
Your new role
You will be involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract functions, providing commercial, cost, and procurement support throughout the project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities include:
- Preparing tender bids, cost estimates, BOQ, and pricing documentation.
- Managing costing, procurement, and contract administration processes.
- Sourcing and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting in progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Performing measurements, taking-off quantities, and verification of site work.
- Attending tender briefings, site visits, and subcontractor meetings.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure compliance and cost control.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in construction, building, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical understanding of tendering, costing, or procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
