Follow the Group Technology IT Contract Management Guidelines (where applicable), the Contract Management Contracting Playbook, and other Client's Policies, Standards, or process that may be applicable.
Key responsibilities:
§ Implementing new IT contracts, orders, and statements of work between client shared services entities and third-party vendors.
§ Renewing existing IT contracts, orders, and statements of work between client shared services entities and third-party vendors.
§ Driving contractual and commercial outcomes with third-party vendors, which may include achieving cost savings and cost avoidance, while enhancing the maturity of our IT contract clauses.
§ Ensuring IT contracts meet high standards, as defined by the Contract Management Contracting Playbook and similar existing contracts and clauses.
§ Identifying and minimising risks within IT contracts, including reducing onerous third-party vendor clause obligations.
§ Seeking to maximise flexibility within IT contracts, ensuring that secures the right to use technology broadly with limited licensing restrictions.
§ Ensuring the correct allocation of risk between and third-party vendors.
§ Communicating with vendors as part of the negotiation and contracting process.
§ Collaborating with various stakeholders involved with projects.
§ Collaborating with various technical IT stakeholders that are involved with preparing operational, services, and general IT content for inclusion in contracts, orders, and statements of work.
§ Managing communications with key stakeholders and business units.
§ Leading and participating in conversations between shared services entities and business units.
§ Advising stakeholders on contract status, questions, and clause interpretations.
§ Supporting the maintenance of an accurate agreement repository with all documents and emails stored for future reference.
§ Engaging with other Contract Management team members and functional stakeholders as required (e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk, Tax).
§ Coordinating and participating in both internal and external meetings.
§ Leveraging internal Contract Management team tools and repositories to drive outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Education –
§ University graduate in a relevant discipline
Experience –
§ Minimum 8-10+ years of relevant working experience.
§ Experience in vendor, contract management, or procurement functions.
§ Experience with contracts and master agreements.
§ Experience with negotiations.
§ Experience with statement of work drafting and quote/order reviews.
Skills –
§ Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
§ Ability to work in dynamic environment
§ Detail oriented
§ Project delivery focus with ability to engage with cross functional teams
