Job Description

Contract Administration
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, consultancy agreements, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-award to close-out.
  • Maintain proper contract documentation and records.

Tender & Procurement Support
  • Prepare and review tender documents, including conditions of contract and technical specifications.
  • Participate in tender evaluations and contractor selection processes.
  • Provide commercial advice during procurement stages.
  • Ensure scope of work and contractual obligations are clearly defined before project award.

Commercial & Cost Management
  • Monitor contract budgets, variations, and claims.
  • Assess contractor progress claims and recommend payments.
  • Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and extension of time (EOT) claims.
  • Implement cost control and value engineering measures.

Risk Management
  • Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure proper risk allocation within contract documents.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.

Claims & Dispute Resolution
  • Manage contractual disputes and claims.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for dispute resolution processes.
  • Liaise with legal advisors when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience specifically within a QS Consultancy practice.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of standard contract forms such as FIDIC, PAM, JCT, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and commercial management.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems.
  • Experience managing high-rise, mixed-use, residential, or commercial development projects is preferred.
