Conveyancing Lawyer

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Conveyancing Lawyer role is based in Johor Bahru. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and advising on conveyancing documents and agreements, managing property transactions, liaising with clients, developers, financial institutions, and government authorities, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The role also involves addressing clients legal inquiries and staying updated on relevant laws and industry trends to provide accurate guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong legal expertise in conveyancing, property law, and contract law
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and agreements
• Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong analytical thinking
• Knowledge of local property, regulatory, and corporate practices as well as up-to-date understanding of Malaysian legal procedures
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), with a valid legal practicing certificate in Malaysia
• Prior experience in conveyancing or property-related legal work is preferred
