Job Description:
Project Management & Coordination:
- Lead and manage key government-related strategic projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with internal teams.
- Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Public Relations, Business Development) to ensure smooth delivery of government projects.
Government Collaborations:
- Work with the GA team to secure meetings with relevant government stakeholders, pitch collaborative initiatives, and manage project execution.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for government partnerships, highlighting mutual benefits for all parties involved.
Event Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of government-supported events, such as Shopee RAI Lokal and Shopee Superstar Awards, ensuring they align with Shopee's strategic objectives.
- Manage event logistics, branding, and communications, ensuring a cohesive message and strong government engagement.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies, ensuring effective collaboration on ongoing and future initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and results.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and analyze the performance of government-related projects, producing regular reports to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Bachelors Degree from a reputable university
- Minimum 3+ years of working experience
- Experience in dealing with project management, growth projects is an advantage
- No government experience is required (relationship management with government stakeholders will purely be handled by a separate team. This role and team is distinctly focused on being the central team to manage these projects from an end-to-end perspective, i.e., from planning to execution)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and assess project performance.
- Strong organizational skillsets
- Proficiency in building presentation slides via Powerpoint / Google Slides and having basic Excel / Google Sheets
