OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage, coordinate and execute the Group's investor relations initiatives and support Corporate Finance activities.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- Support the Group's engagement with shareholders, analysts, and potential investors to enhance market confidence and visibility.
- Prepare and coordinate investor materials for quarterly results, ad-hoc investors briefings/meetings, and roadshows including Q&A preparation, logistics and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, peer performance, analyst coverage, and relevant industry developments to update internal stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate closely with the Group's appointed IR consultants in planning and executing all IR strategies and activities, including but not limited to participation in investors conferences, roadshows, etc.
- Manage the Group's corporate communication channels, including Bursa announcements, press releases on financial results, M&A transactions, and updates on the corporate IR portal.
- Assist the CFO and Finance team in financial modelling, valuation, and cash flow analysis to support fundraising, M&A, and strategic projects.
- Compile the Group's tender book and order book, analyze Group's financial data and information, and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial and strategic information to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify information to ensure consistency, accuracy and up-to-date information in investor communications.
- Prepare quarterly GCEO townhall presentation materials, particularly on the financial performance and key business highlights.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating the Group's annual report content and statements, including but not limited to the MD&A, Chairman's Statement, Financial Highlights, and other finance-related sections.
- Support AGM-related activities, including preparation of financial slides and anticipated financial and CF related Q&A.
- Undertake any other tasks, assignments, and job related matters as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in IR, CF or equity research.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A committed team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with high integrity and able to work independently.
- Confident in engaging with senior management and external stakeholders.
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking /Business/Economics or equivalent
