Corporate Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting strategic financial initiatives, fundraising activities, treasury management, corporate exercises, and business growth opportunities across the Group.

The ideal candidate possesses strong corporate finance expertise, financial modelling capabilities, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in a dynamic corporate or listed company environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support fundraising initiatives, including engagement with financial institutions, bankers, and external advisors.

Manage treasury functions and cash flow planning to optimize financial resources.

Oversee banking facilities, financing arrangements, covenant compliance, and financial obligations.

Participate in corporate exercises such as:

• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
• IPO-related activities
• Strategic investments
• Foreign exchange hedging

Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and financial due diligence.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including:

• Business Development teams
• Legal Advisors
• Bankers
• Auditors
• Tax Consultants
• Company Secretaries

Prepare management reports, business analyses, and presentations for strategic decision-making.

Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and key business stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CA are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking, or Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Experience with public listed companies will be highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation, and fundraising activities.
• Previous managerial or team leadership experience is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and Malaysian financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Language

• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage due to regional business exposure.
