We are partnering with an established investment holding company seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to support the group's strategic investment activities. This role will play a key part in evaluating new investments, managing capital structure, and supporting corporate transactions, while working closely with senior management on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1) Corporate Finance & Investment Analysis
- Lead financial analysis and modelling to evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct feasibility studies, financial due diligence, and valuation analysis for new investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment papers, business cases, and presentations for senior management and board approval.
2) Transaction & Deal Execution
- Support end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and fundraising activities.
- Coordinate with external advisors such as investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and consultants.
- Assist in negotiations, structuring deals, and managing transaction documentation.
3) Strategic Planning
- Support the development of group-level financial strategies and capital allocation plans.
- Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and evaluate potential exit strategies.
4) Financial Modelling & Valuation
- Develop and maintain complex financial models including DCF, IRR, and sensitivity analysis.
- Conduct industry and market research to support investment decisions.
- Analyse financial performance and key drivers across portfolio investments.
5) Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Prepare management reports, investment updates, and board presentations.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams across the group.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on investment performance and financial strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 610 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategy roles.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Experience in M&A transactions, investment analysis, or deal execution is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to investment holding companies, private equity, or conglomerates.
- Experience supporting capital raising, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring initiatives.
- Familiarity with regional investment markets would be an added advantage.
