Job Description

This role is responsible for planning, executing and managing the organization's corporate marketing and communication initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining consistent corporate brand, delivering effective internal and external communications and supporting business objectives through well-coordinated marketing activities. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure corporate messaging, branding and communications are aligned with the company's strategic direction and operational priorities, while operating within approved budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branding & Corporate Identity

  • Establish, refine, and enforce brand guidelines across all business units and markets.
  • Develop corporate branding strategies to strengthen brand positioning and awareness.
  • Oversee production of brand assets including logos, packaging, marketing templates, and corporate presentations.
  • Ensure all marketing and communication materials align with the brand voice and visual identity.

2. Creative & Design Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the in-house design team to deliver high-quality creative outputs.
  • Oversee design development for digital, print, packaging, campaigns, and event materials.
  • Set clear creative direction, quality standards, and production timelines.
  • Review and approve design concepts, artwork, and layouts before deployment.

3. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop annual corporate marketing plans and budgets.
  • Drive execution of integrated marketing campaigns to support business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, HR, Operations) to deliver consistent marketing support.

4. Event Management

  • Plan, manage, and execute corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and internal events.
  • Work closely with business units to tailor event concepts and ensure brand consistency.
  • Oversee logistics, budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations.

5. Vendor & Agency Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external agencies, production houses, printers, event vendors, and freelancers.
  • Negotiate costs, ensure quality deliverables, and uphold standards.
  • Build strong partnerships to support long-term marketing needs.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing and design team.
  • Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and skills development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and innovative team culture.

7. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track and report marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Present regular updates and recommendations to management.

Key Requirements

  1. Demonstrated experienced in mentoring and supporting a corporate marketing and communications team
  2. Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate design and marketing tasks effectively to meet timelines and business needs
  3. Proven capability to drive team productivity and improve workflows through proactive planning and coordination
  4. Working knowledge of design and content tools such as Adobe illustrator, Canva and video editing software is an added advantage
  5. Experience in developing brand identity materials and maintaining corporate branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms
  6. Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners
