Brew Crew Opportunity
Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a Cost Controller to safeguard the assets of the Company and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Costing Section by supervising functions related to inventory and recipe controls.
Accountable for the accurate and timely submission of reports and assist the Accountant/ Finance Manager in implementing controls, evaluating, and monitoring the inventory and recipes of the company.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Monitor, review and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with internal policies, government rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Determine current financial balances to produce schedules, summary reports, trial balances, income statements, and/or financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Review reports for accuracy and analyzes reports for variances prior to distribution.
- Identify problems and interacts with internal and/or external contacts as required to correct deficiencies. Rejects and returns documentation as appropriate.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation for inventory related accounts. Research and resolve problems and adjust accordingly. Ensure supporting document exists for audit purposes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated systems and procedures. Responsible for ensuring the daily backup of Inventory information and liaises with System Support for Inventory on an ad hoc basis.
- Conducting Physical inventory at the Warehouse/ Production monthly to ensure physical agrees with Inventory system balances and perform physical recounts on large variances with Warehouse/ Production for detailed explanation.
- Checking kitchen production report, gourmet, and production section.
- Checking invoices from overseas and local suppliers before and after input into the Inventory system.
- Checking and compile wastage for weekly wastage reporting.
- Work with Accountant to meet reporting deadlines on a periodic basis, Accountant/Finance Manager and external auditors in the preparation of financial audits. Liaise and follow-up on issues with auditors as required.
- Conducting cash/ safe/ inventory counts at all CBTL outlets, Warehouse/Production on annual basis.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required to support business operations and
- meet critical deadlines.

Your Ingredients
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 4 years of cost control or relevant accounting experience form retail or F&B industry
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel applications
- Good business acumen
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy within high productivity/ activity level
