M&E Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost estimation, BOQ, and tender submissions for M&E works
• Conduct material take-offs for ACMV, electrical, ELV, and related building services
• Support tendering processes, including quotation analysis and cost planning
• Involve in value engineering (VE) to optimize project cost and efficiency
• Handle variation order (VO) preparation, evaluation, and negotiation support
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and suppliers for technical and commercial matters
• Monitor and control project budget and cost performance
• Assist in project documentation, reporting, and procurement activities

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in M&E QS, Costing, or Project Engineering roles
• Experience in ACMV, electrical, ELV, or building services systems
• Strong understanding of BOQ, costing, and tender processes
• Familiar with variation orders (VO) and value engineering (VE)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in commercial buildings, fit-out, or M&E contractor environment preferred
