Main Tasks
- You will draft, review, and negotiate local or international legal and intellectual property contracts, using templates and playbooks within defined limits.
- You will provide legal and compliance support on various matters, including due diligence, merger and acquisition projects, audits, and legal investigations.
- You will manage the contract lifecycle, ensure process efficiency, and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of contract templates and knowledge management systems.
- You will interact with internal clients and external customers as required for your assigned tasks.
- You will perform ancillary tasks such as preparing presentations, using legal tech tools, and handling translations.
Requirements
- University degree in Law, preferably with a focus on commercial law
- At least 3 years of professional experience in legal and commercial contract management, preferably with knowledge or practice of both common-law and civil-law systems
- Experienced in drafting and performing legal review of contracts, preferably with an emphasis on commercial law
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling effective contribution in an international environment
- Experienced in working with legal databases and standard IT applications
- Able to communicate effectively and tailor messages to the target audience, while leveraging value-creating opportunities for collaboration both in-house and across units
- Strong analytical skills, a goal-oriented working style, and a pronounced customer orientation make you a valuable member of our team
