As part of our global expansion strategy, HTX is looking for a Country Manager to lead market growth and ecosystem development in the local market.
Role Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for driving user acquisition, trading volume growth, and ecosystem partnerships within the local crypto market.
This role requires strong knowledge of the local crypto trading community, KOL ecosystem, affiliate networks, and institutional market participants.
The ideal candidate has experience in crypto exchanges, fintech, trading platforms, or Web3 ecosystems, and possesses strong local industry connections.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute HTX's market growth strategy in the local market
- Drive user acquisition, active trader growth, and trading volume expansion
- Identify opportunities across retail traders, professional traders, and institutional clients
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activities
Affiliate & KOL Network Development
- Build and scale the Affiliate / IB ecosystem
- Recruit and manage crypto influencers, KOLs, and trading communities
- Design incentive programs to drive affiliate-based user acquisition
Community & Ecosystem Expansion
- Expand HTX presence within local trading communities
- Support and organize offline meetups, trading competitions, and Web3 events
- Collaborate with local crypto media and communities
Institutional & OTC Partnerships
- Develop relationships with OTC desks, trading firms, and large crypto holders
- Identify and onboard institutional trading partners
- Support VIP and high-volume traders
Strategic Partnerships
- Build partnerships with Web3 projects, blockchain ecosystems, and fintech companies
- Explore integrations with wallets, payment providers, and DeFi platforms
Team Management & Operations
- Build and manage local BD, marketing, and community teams
- Track regional KPIs including user growth, trading volume, and partner performance
- Work closely with global teams to localize campaigns and initiatives

Requirements
- 5+ years experience in business development, regional growth, or market expansion
- Experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, trading platforms, or Web3
- Strong understanding of the local crypto market
- Established network with KOLs, trading communities, or institutional partners
- Proven track record in driving user growth or partnerships
- Strong leadership and execution capabilities
- Fluent in English + local language
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at crypto exchanges
- Strong relationships with trading communities or OTC desks
- Experience managing affiliate programs
- Familiarity with local crypto regulatory environment
