Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain consumer credit policies and strategies to manage credit risk across consumer financing products.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend policy adjustments to optimize risk-reward trade-offs and pre-empt any potential broadening of credit deterioration.
  • Collaborate with portfolio analytics and product teams to design and support credit strategies initiative.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of credit policy effectiveness and ensure all relevant credit policies guidelines & manuals are updated timely and accurately.
  • Preparation of credit risk updates to stakeholders including local management, Group office and regulators where required.
  • To actively participate in and manage credit risk related projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Processional credit certification would be an added advantage.
  • 510 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in consumer banking.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles and consumer financing products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects.
