Crypto Ecosystem Analyst

We're DeArk (ICP HUB Germany), a Berlin-based regional gateway to the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) ecosystem, founded in 2023 in partnership with the DFINITY Foundation. We support web3 builders, developers, entrepreneurs, and communities across Europe and globally through education programs, innovation resources, grants, events, collaborations, and decentralized project co-creation. ICP enables the World Computer powering on-chain AI, scalable dApps, and next-gen web3 infrastructure. We're expanding this remote role to strengthen our ecosystem insights and operations in a global, timezone-aligned way (UTC+8 focus for collaboration).

In this analyst role, you'll dive deep into ICP and blockchain ecosystem data, analyzing on-chain activity, transaction patterns, and community/ grant flows to provide reliable insights and support decision-making.

What you'll do

• Analyze on-chain transactions and ecosystem activity on ICP to identify trends, usage patterns, and key metrics.
• Monitor wallets, canisters, and protocol data for accuracy and consistency in reports.
• Review blockchain explorers and tools to verify transaction histories and ecosystem interactions.
• Prepare clear summaries and reports on ICP asset movements, grant distributions, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with ecosystem, grants, and ops teams to ensure data-driven support for programs and initiatives.
• Help resolve data discrepancies through detailed on-chain investigations.

What you need

• 4+ years in crypto analysis, blockchain ecosystem monitoring, or on-chain data roles ideally with protocol or hub experience.
• Active, hands-on use of ICP-native wallets (e.g., Plug, Stoic, NNS, Internet Identity) or multi-chain tools like MetaMask, with regular on-chain transactions, staking, governance, or explorer work.
• Proficiency in ICP explorers (IC Scan, ICP Dashboard) and understanding of canister interactions/transaction flows.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for handling complex blockchain datasets.
• Self-motivated for remote work, with ability to align hours to Singapore timezone (UTC+8) for team syncs.

Nice to have

• Direct involvement with ICP ecosystem (grants, events, dApps).
• Knowledge of APAC web3 trends or Singapore/MAS guidelines.
• Ongoing personal web3 activity that shows deep daily engagement with wallets and on-chain tools.

Compensation & benefits
