Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Quality Engineer with a passion for automotive quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our automotive products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires a Mandarin speaker to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders in the SEA region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits and assessments of automotive products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze customer complaints and feedback to identify root causes and develop improvement plans.
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product quality and performance.
- Participate in product development processes to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on quality processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or similar.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and quality management software.
