Job Description
Who runs the war room at your next cloud migration
We are hiring a Cutover Lead - Cloud Transformation (Azure & AWS) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to plan, coordinate and govern end-to-end cutover for a large cloud migration and transformation programme.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage cutover strategies, plans, runbooks and execution schedules
- Lead end-to-end cutover across Azure and AWS for applications, databases and infrastructure
- Coordinate dependencies across infrastructure, network, security, application, database and business teams
- Run cutover workshops, readiness assessments, risk reviews and go/no-go forums
- Manage deployment sequencing, validation checkpoints, rollback planning and post-cutover stabilisation
- Lead war-room activities during critical migration and release events
- Report progress, risks and issues to management and business leadership; run post-implementation reviews
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud, migration or transformation programmes
- 3+ years leading cutover for large-scale cloud migration or technology transformation
- Proven delivery across both Azure and AWS
- Strong risk, change management and service transition experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and fluent English
Preferred: AZ-104, AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or ITIL.
Location: Kuala Lumpur. Candidates anywhere in Malaysia are welcome if able to work in KL.
Salary: MYR 10,000 - 15,000 per month.
