Cyber Security Analyst - Junior Role

Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM 4000

Contract: 12 Months

1-2 Month notice period

Job Purpose:

Implement and enforce IT Security to protect company information

Ensure compliance with Head Office, Regional, Regulatory, and Local IT policies including Technology Risk Management and Cyber Resilience Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and coordinate IT Security assessments and close gaps

Monitor cybersecurity alerts (SIEM, EDR, XDR, anti-virus/anti-malware)

Vulnerability and patch management

Maintain Privilege Access Management system and perform privilege reviews

Review and develop IT Security policies and procedures

Participate in new business application projects, Cyber Drills, and IT Disaster Recovery exercises

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university major in Computer Networking, Information Technology or related disciplines.

Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in managing IT Security solutions and conducting vulnerability assessments. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Hands on experience managing products such as privilege access management, endpoints anti-malware / EDR, SIEM, Hardware Security Module (HSM) and other similar products.

Professional IT certification is an added advantage (e.g. Certified Ethical Hacking, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Framework and etc)
