Summary:
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot deployment initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for managing complex, cross-functional programs involving collaboration tools, security, compliance, change management, and AI-enabled productivity solutions. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and governance objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale Microsoft 365 deployments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform) across multiple business units.
- Manage Microsoft Copilot rollout initiatives, including readiness, licensing, governance, adoption, and value realization.
- Own the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and closure.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and status reporting.
- Engage senior stakeholders, business leaders, IT leadership, security, legal, compliance, and HR teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users, Microsoft partners, and internal technical teams.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, data privacy regulations, and AI governance frameworks.
- Chair project steering committees and provide clear, executive-level updates.
- Partner with change management and communications teams to drive user adoption of Microsoft 365 and Copilot.
- Oversee training strategies, user enablement plans, and adoption metrics.
- Manage organizational readiness for AI-assisted productivity and new ways of working.
- Address resistance to change and ensure smooth transition to new tools and processes.
- Identify and manage risks related to data protection, identity, information security, and regulatory compliance.
Requirement:
- 8+ years of experience managing complex IT or digital transformation projects.
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 enterprise deployments.
- Strong experience managing multi-workstream, cross-functional programs.
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Microsoft 365 & Copilot Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Power Platform).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot capabilities, licensing models, prerequisites, and limitations.
- Familiarity with identity management (Entra ID/Azure AD), security, compliance, and information governance concepts.
- Experience working with AI-enabled tools in an enterprise environment is a strong advantage.
