The position reports to: Head of Data Analytics
About the Role
We're looking for a Data Analyst who can bridge the gap between business and data. You'll translate real business needs into clean, reliable data models (working with our Data Engineering team), and then turn those models into insights, dashboards, and stories that drive decisions. If you're passionate about problem-solving, data science, and building dashboards people love to use, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with business to design, build and improve our data models, translating business questions into scalable data solutions and easy-to-use dataset.
- Dig into databases, reconcile data gaps and discover new metrics to integrate into our existing dataset.
- Own and continuously improve these data models as business needs evolve
- Partner with Data Engineering to build robust pipelines and models
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker for self-service analytics
- Safeguard data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in analytics or BI
- Expert SQL skills with strong understanding of relational data modeling
- Hands-on experience with dbt for transformations and modeling
- Experience with at least one BI tool (Looker preferred)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solver with sharp attention to detail
- (Bonus) Python scripting experience and/or knowledge of the telco space
