SALARY RANGE: RM4,000-RM6,000
Responsibilities:
This position is an executive position at the Sarawak Campus. The position will be responsible for areas as designated by the Assistant Manager, Application Development – primarily focusing on analyzing and validating data, creating reports and dashboards, performing trend analysis, supporting data integration, and using automation and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights for strategic decision-making, along with any other relevant tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution, with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience; OR Master's degree holder can be considered.
- For bachelor's holders, at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in any two of the following domains: data insights, dashboard development, data extraction, data modelling, statistical analysis, data validation, or data governance compliance.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract insights from complex datasets.
- Familiar in designing interactive dashboards and presenting insights through dashboard and visualization tools.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to both technical professionals and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills especially in a cross-cultural situation and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a consultative and team environment.
- Familiar in data query languages such as SQL, Python, or low-code platforms such as Power BI.
- Ability to abstract and build data models for analysis.
- Ability to detect, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data issues to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Knowledge of hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and trend forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ability to interpret and analyze structured data models and work collaboratively with machine learning specialists to enhance predictive insights.
