Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for procurement insights, analytics, and reporting.
- Set clear goals and priorities for the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of insights and reports.
- Foster a collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented team culture
- Support team members in developing analytical and business interpretation skills.
2. Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyse procurement and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations that support procurement strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as product seasonality, inventory movement, supplier fulfilment performance, out-of-stock rates, procurement efficiency metrics.
3. Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance across procurement reporting.
- Continuously improve reporting frameworks to enhance visibility and decision-making.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner closely with procurement teams, supply chain, operations, and other business stakeholders to understand information needs.
- Provide data-driven insights to support procurement planning, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement within procurement analytics and reporting.
- Develop better ways to track performance and highlight actionable opportunities.
- Support data-driven initiatives that improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis, business analytics, procurement, retail, supply chain, or operationd.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable.
