Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for procurement insights, analytics, and reporting.
  • Set clear goals and priorities for the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of insights and reports.
  • Foster a collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented team culture
  • Support team members in developing analytical and business interpretation skills.

2. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse procurement and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations that support procurement strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as product seasonality, inventory movement, supplier fulfilment performance, out-of-stock rates, procurement efficiency metrics.

3. Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance across procurement reporting.
  • Continuously improve reporting frameworks to enhance visibility and decision-making.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with procurement teams, supply chain, operations, and other business stakeholders to understand information needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support procurement planning, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for process improvement within procurement analytics and reporting.
  • Develop better ways to track performance and highlight actionable opportunities.
  • Support data-driven initiatives that improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, business analytics, procurement, retail, supply chain, or operationd.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable.
