Data Analytics Lead (Transaction Banking)

Responsible for overseeing business reporting functions for Transaction Banking businesses as well as driving and managing TB Datamart activities. This role ensures data integrity, reporting efficiency, and the development of business intelligence dashboards that enables informed decision-making. Additionally, the role focuses on expanding the use of data beyond reporting, fostering data adoption to influence and support strategic decisions.

• Drive the development, management, and optimization of TB Datamart activities to support data-driven decision-making in Transaction Banking.
• Manage and consolidate data from multiple sources and platforms to ensure a seamless and comprehensive reporting structure.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant business reporting for tracking business performance, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Lead process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and minimise manual effort.
• Drive data-led process automations for internal functions
• Drive the development of Business Intelligence dashboards, leveraging data visualization and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption of data-driven strategies, enabling business users to leverage data for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data governance and compliance, aligning reporting activities with regulatory and internal standards.
• Align reporting and analytics capabilities with business goals through collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Foster a data-driven culture, guiding teams in adopting data best practices for enhanced decision-making.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirement:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, visualisation, and business intelligence roles in financial institution.
• Proficient in technical programming languages like SQL, Python, etc. or VBA to run MS programmes
• Analytical and critical thinker to drive collaboration with data users to transform processes and drive data driven decisions
• Proven track record of leading and managing data teams in a complex organizational setting.
• Exposure to Transaction Banking business would be an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of Transaction Banking products and services
• Sound understanding of business processes, industry dynamics, and market trends.
• Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
