Job Role: Data Annotator (Malay Language)

Engagement: Freelancing

Rate per hour: 8 USD per hour

Minimum Time Commitment per hour: 4-6 hours per day

We are looking for native Malay language experts to support an upcoming audio evaluation and multilingual benchmarking initiative.

This opportunity is ideal for linguists and language professionals interested in working on AI‑driven speech technologies, including Text‑to‑Speech (TTS) and Speech‑to‑Text (STT) systems.

Scope of Work

✅ Audio Evaluation

• Review and assess model outputs for TTS and STT quality, including accuracy, pronunciation, and naturalness.

✅ Multilingual Benchmarking

• Create and validate evaluation benchmarks aligned with local language usage, cultural context, and regional expectations.

Effort Required

• Effort may increase based on project needs and quality requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Native fluency in the Malay language as well as proficient In English Language.
• Strong understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and regional variations
• Prior experience in annotation, linguistic evaluation, QA, or AI/LLM evaluation preferred
• Ability to complete structured evaluation tasks within defined timelines.
