Data Center Computer Operator

Position: Data Center Computer Operator

Work Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Data Center computer facilities and operations.
• Execute and monitor batch processing jobs and backup activities.
• Escort engineers and authorized personnel within the Data Center premises.
• Handle tape management activities, including loading, unloading, and collecting backup tapes.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day Data Center operations and report any incidents or issues promptly.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour rotational shifts
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• 4 working days per week based on roster.
• Rotational schedule includes weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and public holidays as per business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of Data Center operations.
• Experience in monitoring systems, backups, and batch jobs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and a 24x7 operational environment.
