Data Center Engineer

JOB TYPE:

4 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain data center facility infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.
• Monitor UPS systems, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility equipment.
• Ensure uptime and availability of critical infrastructure in line with SLA requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Support capacity planning and ensure optimal utilization of power and cooling resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and data center best practices.
• Assist in commissioning and decommissioning of facility equipment.
• Work closely with IT and operations teams to support data center activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in one of the following Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,Mechatronics Engineering,Building Services Engineering,Facilities Management
• Fresh graduates may also apply
• Minimum Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers
• Experience with BMS/DCIM tools
• Understanding of HVAC, fire suppression, and safety systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
