Data Center MEP Professionals (All Levels)

Location: Johor Bahru

Our client is an established Main MEP Contractor hiring across multiple levels for upcoming hyperscale and mission-critical Data Center projects.

We are seeking hands-on, experienced candidates for the following roles:

• Project Engineer (MEP) – 1 to 3 yrs experience

• Senior Project Engineer (MEP) – 3 to 5 yrs experience

• Assistant Project Manager (MEP) – 4 to 6 yrs experience

• Project Manager (MEP) – 6 to 10 yrs experience

• Senior Project Manager (MEP) – 10+ yrs experience

Key Responsibilities by Role

• Project Engineer: Manage RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, site QA/QC inspections, and support Level 1–3 pre-commissioning.

• Senior Project Engineer: Lead technical coordination for electrical (HV/LV, UPS, Gensets) or mechanical (Chillers, CRAH, BMS) packages; resolve trade site clashes.

• Assistant Project Manager: Track procurement schedules, manage subcontractor progress, monitor variations, and assist with cost control.

• Project Manager: Full P&L responsibility for $10M–$50M+ MEP scope; drive critical-path schedule, client reporting, and Level 4/5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST).

• Senior Project Manager: Strategic leadership for $50M+ hyperscale builds; oversee multiple PMs, subcontractor performance, final accounts, and commercial delivery.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Direct site/contractor experience in Data Centers or heavy mission-critical construction.

• Hands-on knowledge of critical power (UPS, switchgear, gensets) and/or cooling infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Uptime Tier standards (Tier III/IV).

• Strong site-safety mindset (OSHA) and subcontractor management skills.
