Job Purpose
We are seeking an expert-level Senior Data Center & Network Engineer to lead the deployment, implementation, and operations of our enterprise core networking, Data Center infrastructure, software-defined security, and enterprise wireless environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Center & Enterprise Core Implementation:
- Hands-on deployment and configuration of enterprise Routing & Switching infrastructure using Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco Nexus Data Center platforms (NX-OS, vPC, VXLAN).
- Network Virtualization & Security:
- Implement and manage VMware NSX environments, enforcing micro-segmentation, security policies, and rule creation via the Distributed Firewall (DFW).
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot physical/perimeter firewalls and load balancer integration within Data Center workflows.
- Wireless Infrastructure:
- Execute end-to-end implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise Wireless (WLAN) infrastructure.
- Edge & Services Architecture:
- Maintain high-level operational oversight and conceptual alignment with enterprise SD-WAN solutions and DNS/IPAM services.
Requirements & Technical Qualifications
- Overall Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on, expert-level experience in enterprise Routing & Switching and Data Center networking.
- Core DC & R&S Expertise: Proven deployment experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco Nexus family switches (e.g., 9K/7K/5K).
- Network Virtualization & Security:5+ years of direct implementation experience with VMware NSX, NSX DFW (Distributed Firewall), and perimeter firewalls.
- Wireless:4+ years of hands-on deployment and maintenance experience with enterprise Wi-Fi systems.
- Security & Edge Knowledge: Solid understanding of firewall policies, load balancers, SD-WAN architectures, and DNS management.
