Data Center Network Engineer

**Position Title:** Data Center & Network Implementation Engineer

**Role Overview**

Lead the hands-on deployment and configuration of enterprise data center networks, security micro-segmentation, and wireless environments. You will implement low-level designs across Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, VMware NSX, and firewall platforms.

**Core Responsibilities**

* **Data Center & R&S:** Deploy and configure Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, managing complex core routing (BGP, OSPF) and switching (VXLAN, STP).

* **Network Virtualization:** Implement VMware NSX, defining Distributed Firewall (DFW) policies and micro-segmentation rules.

* **Wireless & Security:** Execute end-to-end deployments for enterprise wireless (WLCs, APs) and next-gen firewalls.

* **Core Services:** Support load balancers (F5/Citrix) and provide operational oversight for DNS and SD-WAN architectures.

**Required Qualifications**

* **Routing & Switching ** - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst & Nexus platforms.

* **VMware NSX & DFW:** 2+ years of implementation experience with NSX and Distributed Firewalls.

* **Firewalls:** 3+ years of hands-on deployment and rule management experience.

* **Wireless:** 2+ years of hands-on deployment experience.

* **Conceptual Knowledge:** Strong understanding of DNS and SD-WAN concepts; fair operational knowledge of Load Balancers.

**Preferred Certifications**

* CCNP / CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise)

* VCP-NV / VCAP-NV (VMware Network Virtualization)
