About the opportunity:
Our Avanade SEA Academies accelerate our growth by ensuring we have a vehicle to continuously develop and acquire talent with skills on the Microsoft platform by bringing new candidates into the pool.
We have identified in-demand skills and bring together Academy cohorts across SEA to be trained and developed to fill essential roles within our business, working across numerous client projects.
Following your successful completion of a 6 8 weeks training program, you will provide data integration and ETL/ELT using Python, PySpark, SQL, leveraging on cloud technologies and tools such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory.
About you:
You have at least 3-years of data engineering & management experience. Preferably with a Bachelor's degree in computer science of an engineering field. You are passionate about data, the latest technologies in analytics and have experience in turning business use cases and requirements to technical solutions. You can design and build of data solutions for customers. You are willing to learn and work along with some of the best-experienced consultants.
- Translate business requirements to technical solutions leveraging strong business acumen
- Analyze current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services.
- Delivery of architectures for transformations and modernizations of enterprise data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies.

What technical skills we are interested in you having:
- Experienced in Data Transformation and Intergration, good understanding of:
- Data Architecture: Lambda and Kappa architecture patterns
- Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools and processes
- Data modelling and database management
- Hands-on experience working with:
- Programming: Python, SQL, PySpark
- ETL/ELT tools: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica
We don't expect you tick every box. What's important is that you help us to understand what your core strengths are and, that you'll be excited to learn and develop in areas if you need to.
Please note: All applicants must be locals to be eligible for the role, due to client requirements. The Academy is due to start on TBCSept.1.2023. Candidate must be able to start on this date to be considered and be able to complete the entire Academy training program to be successful in passing probation.
