Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure smooth operation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java for data manipulation and ETL processes.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with tools like Redshift or Snowflake.
