Job Description
WE'RE HIRING: DATA ENGINEER – MALAYSIA
Location: Malaysia
Experience: 3+ Years
Visa Sponsorship: Provided
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
Experience with Enterprise Data Lake architecture and Bronze, Silver & Gold layers
Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, YAML)
Knowledge of Apache NiFi, Airflow, and batch scheduling
Experience with Apache Iceberg and SCD data modeling
Knowledge of Kafka and real-time data streaming
Data integration through APIs and multiple source systems
Data validation, quality monitoring, and error handling
Strong understanding of Linux, data warehousing, and data lake concepts
Good to Have:
AWS / Azure / GCP
Docker / Kubernetes
MongoDB, HBase, or PostgreSQL
Data Engineering Certification
