Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data is collected, processed, and stored efficiently to support analytical and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data pipelines.
• Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
• Analyze and optimize data processes for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
