Position: Data Entry (3 months contract)
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Working Hours: Shift between 9AM - 7PM (44 hours/week)
Salary: RM 2,700 (total salary)
Job Description:
- Verify shipping invoices and tariff/HS codes to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and e-Invoice requirements.
- Input and maintain data in internal systems/tools and government portals
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, logistics, compliance) to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Monitor and cross-check tariff classifications, duties, and tax rates against official references.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of e-Invoices and related documentation.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, supporting documents, and approvals.
- Provides clearance and brokerage support to external customers and completing any related administration.
- Responsible for the completion of defined processes and procedures to deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards.
- Identifies anomalies as they arise and uses judgement based on rules and procedures to resolve. For complex issues, may escalate to senior team members.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum SPM holder and above
- Strong attention to detail with data entry accuracy.
- Tech-savvy comfortable using digital tools, systems, and online platforms.
- English communication skills at B2 level or above.
- Ability to work independently with strong sense of accountability.
- Prior experience in invoice checking, customs documentation, or data entry is an advantage.
- Adaptable and eager to learn (preferably early to mid-career candidates).
