Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop: Create and maintain data integration pipelines connecting internal systems, third-party tools, and customer applications, ensuring data consistency and quality.
- Accelerate Integration: Utilize low-code/no-code platforms while balancing custom development for complex pipelines.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work with internal teams to gather requirements and implement data flows that support business needs across compliance, finance, and customer-facing platforms.
- Optimize Performance: Monitor and enhance data transfer performance, ensuring integrations are efficient, scalable, and secure.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Assist with production pipeline issues and coordinate responses to resolve incidents.
- Handle Data Transfers: Manage real-time and batch data transfers, collaborating with engineering and back-end teams to tackle complex integration challenges.
- Document Processes: Develop documentation and governance standards for data integration, ensuring maintainability and ease of use.
What You Bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Fivetran) and proficiency in SQL, API development, and cloud solutions (Google Cloud, AWS).
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages.
- Real-Time Systems: Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Data Governance: Understanding of data privacy and security principles, especially in regulated environments (e.g., GDPR compliance).
- Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent debugging abilities focused on optimizing data flows.
