Data Intelligence Specialist/Consultant

Position Objective:

To support the Data Intelligence function through the delivery of accurate and reliable performance, sales, and compensation data, insightful analytics, and effective reporting solutions across Partnership Distribution. The role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, strengthening governance and reporting standards, and enhancing dashboard and automation capabilities to support performance monitoring, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Commission Administration & Governance

• Manage the computation, validation, and administration of commission payouts and BSC Commission Scoring to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with approved business rules.
• Prepare commission-related reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for stakeholder review and approval.
• Support regulatory and governance reporting requirements, including BNM submissions and Board Paper preparation.
• Investigate and resolve commission-related discrepancies, exceptions, and stakeholder queries in a timely manner.

Persistency and Performance Reporting & Monitoring

• Prepare and distribute regular business performance reports, including F2F Production Reports, Persistency Reports, and other key performance tracking reports for internal stakeholders and bank partners.
• Monitor key business metrics and performance indicators to support effective performance management and business monitoring.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with agreed business definitions, methodologies, and reporting standards.
• Provide analysis and commentary on performance trends, variances, and key business drivers.
• Support the computation, monitoring, and reporting of persistency metrics, including D1, D2, M13, and M25 indicators.
• Conduct variance and exception analysis to identify performance gaps, emerging trends, and areas requiring intervention.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of performance measurement methodologies and KPI calculations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate performance results and address reporting discrepancies.

System Enhancement & Implementation Support

• Support commission-related system enhancements, new product launches, and regulatory-driven implementations, including SST-related changes.
• Assist in requirement gathering, system configuration validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews.
• Coordinate with Technology and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of system enhancements and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, and reporting automation.

Stakeholder & Business Support

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and bank partners to support reporting, commission administration, performance measurement, and data-related requirements.
• Manage reporting requirements for orphan policies and other partner-specific reporting obligations.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and presentation support for management reviews, business discussions, and governance forums.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of business information.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education – Degree holder in any discipline and/or non-degree holders with related working experience.
• Experience – 5 years relevant experience.
• Skills – Excellent in MS-Excel/Power BI, Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
