Responsibilities:

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. You will perform various related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management.

Additionally, you will install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

In this role, you are expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be required to actively participate and contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems.

Intermediate proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) is required. Database Management with intermediate proficiency is recommended.

Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime Conduct regular database backups and implement disaster recovery plans Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database administration
