We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Database Developer Engineer to join our dynamic team at HFM.
Your Role at HFM (Responsibilities):
As a Database Developer Engineer, you will:
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across various database technologies including MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis and InfluxDB.
- Collaborate with developers across multiple languages and platforms to understand their database needs and challenges.
- Conduct thorough database system analysis, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to query performance tuning, problem resolution, and system design.
- Keep abreast with the latest technologies and trends in Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Requirements
What You Bring (Requirements):
- 3+ as a database developer, database administrator, or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and languages.
- Ability to guide software engineers in optimizing database performance through query structuring.
- Experience working with a variety of databases such as MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis and InfluxDB.
- Knowledge of various programming languages such as Python and .NET.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
