Database Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize databases for business applications.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data availability.
• Implement database backup, recovery, security, and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to support application requirements.

Technical Skills:

• Strong SQL and database administration skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of backup, recovery, replication, and high availability.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
