Exp: 2-10 years
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support multiple database systems including MSSQL, DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Sybase
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
- Monitor database performance and execute tuning and troubleshooting activities
- Conduct regular health checks and disaster recovery (DR) validation
- Manage database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability
- Support middleware clustering and platform administration activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support business and technical requirements
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Key Requirements:- Strong hands-on experience in managing more than 1 database such as MSSQL, DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB, Postgres, Sybase
2. Strong understanding of platform administration
3. Experience in middleware clustering
4. Expertise in database installation, configuration & upgrade
5. Performance tuning & troubleshooting
6. Healthcheck & DR validation
7. Experience in database backup & recovery
8. Strong stakeholder coordination
9. Fluent in English communication. Bahasa Melayu is added advantage.
10. Good in technical documentation writing.
