Role Description The Deal Associate – Investment is a part-time, remote role supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting market and company research, building and maintaining financial models, and assisting in due diligence for potential deals. The role involves preparing investment memos and presentations, tracking portfolio performance, and maintaining internal databases and deal pipelines. The Deal Associate collaborates with senior team members to analyze risk-return profiles, support investment committee discussions, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and interpreting financial statements.
- Experience or interest in investment management, private deals, or capital markets, with the ability to assess risk and return in different asset classes.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the capacity to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear insights.
- Proficiency with productivity and data tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools; familiarity with Bloomberg or other market data platforms is an advantage).
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills for preparing investment memos, reports, and presentations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management abilities suitable for part-time, remote work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small, agile team across remote channels.
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant internships or prior experience in investment or asset management are beneficial.
