Job Description

  • Strategic Funding Management
  • Keep abreast with bank's balance sheet/asset growth and actively participate in the planning and execution of medium-to-long-term funding plans to ensure alignment with liquidity needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep track of long term liability maturity profiles, including but not limited to instruments type and investor bases, with the objective to diversify funding sources.
  • Monitor and structurally track the cost comparisons of various funding options, including but not limited to deposits, long term debt, Cagamas, interbank, repo, to ensure overall Group's funding structure is managed in an optimised and disciplined manner.
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Governance
  • Understand and participate in the periodic review of the FTP methodology and processes.
  • Keep track of monthly financial performance, including ad-hoc simulation/projections.
  • Continuous monitoring of the applied FTP models and internal transfer pricing curves, including the tracking of management incentives and/or any other exceptional treatment.
  • Balance Sheet & Liquidity Optimization
  • Perform continuous monitoring and oversight of key funding metrices, including but not limited to LDR, NSFR, LTF, covering both domestic and regional operations.
  • Perform the necessary benchmarking on a periodic basis.
  • AC portfolio
  • Execute fixed income investment strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Enhance return on fixed income investments through efficient capital utilisation.
  • Informative on developments in global markets and apply forward looking strategies to mitigate market and credit risk.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management limits and strengthen interaction with risk management department in establishing limits conducive to business requirements.
  • Ensure adhere to the code of conduct and policies set by regulators and the Group.
