Debug & Failure Analysis Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and analyzing failed electronic products and PCBAs. The role involves identifying faults, performing failure analysis, and supporting Engineering and Quality teams to resolve product issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and debug failed PCBAs and electronic products.
• Perform failure analysis to identify the cause of product failures.
• Conduct component-level testing and identify defective components.
• Perform repair and rework of defective components when required.
• Record failure symptoms, findings, and repair results.
• Prepare basic failure analysis reports.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Test, and Process teams to resolve recurring issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA troubleshooting, debugging, repair, or failure analysis is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Able to read basic electrical/electronic schematics.
• Able to use basic electronic testing equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
