Job description:
- Project Management & Delivery: Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of international IT projects, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic goals. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders in various regions to capture project requirements and ensure alignment with local regulations. Prepare and present status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and action plans to senior leadership.
- Operational Management: Manage daily operations across international sites, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met. Monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, automation, and cost management initiatives. Ensure seamless handover and transition of projects into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Act as a liaison between global IT teams, local offices, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals. Build relationships with local operations teams to ensure effective delivery of services and smooth execution of daily operations.
- Risk, Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, banking policies, and risk management frameworks in all international operations. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure projects adhere to data protection, security, and legal guidelines across different jurisdictions. Prepare and execute disaster recovery (DR) plans, business continuity plans (BCP), and operational risk assessments for international sites.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers involved in international project delivery and operations. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure third-party partners meet the required standards for service delivery.
Job requirement:
- Proven experience in managing international IT projects and BAU operations, preferably in the banking/financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of banking technology systems, IT infrastructure, and international banking regulations.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
