Job Description

1. Provide dental examinations, diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
2. Perform restorative procedures, extractions and dental prosthetic fittings.
3. Educate patients on oral health care and carry out agreed clinical treatment as such restoration of teeth affected by caries and gum disease.
4. Administer local anesthesia and provide pain management as required.
5. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
6. Explain treatment options and outcomes to patients and their families.
7. Maintain infection control standards to ensure patient safety.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent.
2. Successfully completed mandatory national service in MOH or institution approved by MOH.
3. Valid registration with Malaysian Dental Council and Annual Practicing Certificate.
4. In depth knowledge of oral anatomy, tooth structure and related physiology.
5. Ability to diagnose various dental conditions through examination, X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
