As a Deposit Relationship Officer at RHB Bank Berhad, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding the bank's deposit portfolio. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, promoting various deposit products, and contributing to the overall growth of the bank's deposit base.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to attract new depositors and retain existing ones
Provide excellent customer service and financial advice to clients regarding deposit products
Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate deposit solutions
Meet and exceed deposit targets set by the bank
Cross-sell other banking products and services to maximize customer value
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive product offerings
Collaborate with other departments to develop and improve deposit products
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional events to increase brand awareness
Qualifications
Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in banking, preferably in deposit products or relationship management
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record in sales and relationship building
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and banking software
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is a plus
