Deputy Branch Manager - Labuan International Branch

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist and support in executing business plans and strategies to achieve branch targets as well as the Bank's overall objectives.
• To build and maintain strong relationships with business counterparts and associates, fostering a positive corporate image and identifying potential business opportunities.
• To promote teamwork among branch to cross sell Bank's products and services including liability products.
• Manage and oversees day-to-day operations functions of the branch including review, check and authorise (where applicable) customers KYC, and loans and deposits creation and maintenance related processes.
• Check and manage all periodic reports that are submitted to the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) are accurate and timely.
• To act as a figurehead for the branch in meeting with prospects / existing customers for any official matters / events / functions. Be primary responsibility in managing compliance risks inherent in the day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulations from Bank Negara Malaysia, other regulatory bodies and ICBC Head Office's Policy, Procedures and Manuals (PPM) as issued from time to time.
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Senior Management of theBank.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university; Master's degree is preferred.
• Should have at least 8 years of experiences in sales & marketing aspects. Familiar with relevant rules & regulations and guidelines.
• Mature, pleasant personality with good disposition.
• Leadership and analytical skill.
• Business acumen.
• Capability in working independently.
• Capability in performing multiple tasks within a tight schedule.
• Good communication skills for both verbal and written in English and/or Mandarinlanguage.
